A couple quick ways to identify between a red fox, grey fox and a coyote.

♡ Red fox- red body and wears black socks, white tipped tail and dog face. Can jump as high as 6.5 feet high! Can live 15 years in captivity and average 7 years in the wild.

♡ Grey fox – grey body with a touch of red, black tipped tail, black stripe down back, cat face. Can retract their clawes like cats and are able climb up trees!

♡ Coyote – grey, brown or blackish, long & fluffy tail, tall & scrawny, larger than a fox with dog face and a longer snout. Great swimmers and can run up to 40mph!

Fox facts- male is a ‘dog fox’, female is a ‘vixen’, a group is called a leash or a skulk. They live in dens, aka’earth’, with their kits and have verticle pupils like cats.
